Bolton Wanderers lineup vs Forest Green Rovers confirmed for League Two opener

The Bolton Wanderers team to take on Forest Green Rovers for today's League Two opener has been confirmed and Ian Evatt has made five changes.

The fourth tier of English football starts today with games taking place up and down the country.

And Ian Evatt's first league game in charge of Wanderers is at the University of Bolton Stadium against the Gloucestershire side for the first ever meeting between the two sides.

The Bolton manager has made a total of five changes from the side which lost 3-2 to Crewe Alexandra in the EFL Trophy.

Billy Crellin keeps his place in goal, while the back three lines up as Ricardo Almeida Santos, Alex Baptiste and Reiss Greenidge who makes his Wanderers debut.

Harry Brockbank and George Taft drop out of the team.

Gethin Jones comes in to replace Jak Hickman, while Liam Gordon retains his place at left wing-back.

Tom White and the returning Brandon Comley look set to start in central midfield, with Antoni Sarevic in the number 10 role, with Ali Crawford dropping to the bench.

Upfront, Evatt keeps faith with Eion Doyle and Nathan Delfouneso.

On the bench are Matthew Alexander, Jamie Mascoll, Andrew Tutte and Bright Amoateng, along with Taft, Crawford and Hickman.
