Bolton Wanderers lineup vs Barrow confirmed: two changes made across midfield and attack

Bolton Wanderers return to action today and are at home once again for the second time in the space of five days when they host Barrow this afternoon.

The Trotters take on the Bluebirds aiming to extend a winning run to five games.

And Wanderers take on Ian Evatt's former club Barrow this afternoon.

Last time these two sides met, the Trotters came from behind to secure a point in a remarkable 3-3 draw at Holker Street.

Wanderers head into the encounter sitting ninth in the table and just a few points from the play-offs.

Barrow go into the encounter on the back of three points picked up against Oldham Athletic last time out.

And ahead of today's encounter, Ian Evatt has made two changes from the side which Scunthorpe in midweek.

Matt Gilks keeps his place in goal, while the back four of Gethin Jones, Ricardo Almeida Santos, Alex Baptiste and Declan John continues.

There is a change in central midfield as Kieran Lee comes back into the team in place of George Thomason, and partners MJ Williams.

Eoin Doyle continues as the number nine, while there is one more changes skipper Antoni Sarcevic comes into the side, while Oladapo Afolayan also starts, as does Lloyd Isgrove.

On the bench for Wanderers today are Nathan Delfouneso, Andrew Tutte, Shaun Miller, Arthur Gnahoua, Thomason, Zack Elbouzedi and Ben Jackson.
