Bolton Wanderers lineup vs Barnsley for Carabao Cup confirmed as six changes made

Ian Evatt has made six changes to his Bolton Wanderers team for this evening's clash in the Carabao Cup against Barnsley.

The Trotters take on the Tykes this evening at the University of Bolton Stadium in a first round clash.

Wanderers have the chance to reach the second round with victory tonight, where the Premier League sides who are not in European competitions enter the competition.

Wanderers got their League One campaign up and running over the weekend with a dramatic 3-3 draw against MK Dons.

And Evatt has elected to make six changes from the side which took to the pitch against the Dons over the weekend.

In goal, Evatt has put Joel Dixon in between the sticks.

In defence, Ricardo Almeida Santos returns to the starting lineup to play alongside George Johnston, with Gethin Jones at right back and Liam Gordon coming in at Left back.

In central midfield, Kieran Lee starts alongside MJ Williams and captain Antoni Sarcevic.

And upfront, Lloyd Isgrove is poised to line up on the right with Nathan Delfouneso on the left, and Eoin Doyle through the middle.

On the bench this evening for Wanderers are Josh Sheehan, Amadou Bakayoko, Andrew Tutte, Harry Brockbank, Elias Kachunga, George Thomason and Ronan Darcy.
