Bolton Wanderers lineup v Tranmere Rovers confirmed: one change made

Bolton Wanderers manager Ian Evatt has made one change to the side to take on Tranmere Rovers this afternoon.

Wanderers take on Rovers at the University of Bolton Stadium in League Two in their final game before Christmas.

Bolton are aiming to secure back-to-back victories after beating Cheltenham Town on the road in midweek.

Against the Trotters this afternoon are a Tranmere side under former Bolton boss Keith Hill who have lost their last two games on the bounce.

The most recent of these was last weekend when Tranmere was thrashed 5-0 by Exeter City.

And for today's match, Evatt has made one change to the side which secured three points against the Robins.

Matt Gilks continues in goal with the established back three of Alex Baptiste, Ricardo Almeida Santos and Ryan Delaney start once more.

There is a change in the wing-back areas however as Harry Brockbank comes in for Reiss Greenidge on the left flank, while Gethin Jones is set to continue on the right flank.

In central midfield, youngster George Thomason continues in the engine room alongside skipper Antoni Sarcevic.

The number 10 role for today's game will be Lloyd Isgrove who keeps his place in the side after starting against Cheltenham

And upfront, the first choice strike partnership of Eoin Doyle and Nathan Delfouneso continues.

On the bench today for Wanderers are Billy Crellin, Brandon Comley, Ali Crawford, Tom White, Jamie Mascoll, Greenidge and Ronan Darcy.
