Bolton Wanderers lineup against Walsall for League Two clash confirmed

Ian Evatt has named an unchanged Bolton Wanderers team to take on Walsall this afternoon.

The Trotters return to League Two action this afternoon and are on the road against the Saddlers at the Banks's Stadium.

It will be the first time that Bolton have played since last weekend's 6-3 home defeat against Port Vale.

The Trotters go into the game just three points from the play-offs as they aim to return to winning ways.

Heading into the encounter, Wanderers boss Evatt hinted at making changes and suggested that all positions - apart from the strikers due to a lack of options currently - were 'up for grabs'.

But the Bolton boss has instead elected to keep faith with the same team that started the defeat to the Valiants and has made no changes today for the clash against Walsall.

That means Matt Gilks continues in goal while the back three lines up as Alex Baptiste, Ricardo Almeida Santos and Ryan Delaney.

The wing-backs are Peter Kioso on the right and Gethin Jones on the left, with a central midfield pairing of captain Antoni Sarcevic and George Thomason continuing.

Ali Crawford is poised to play in a more advanced attacking role, while the first choice strike partnership of Eoin Doyle and Nathan Delfouneso continues for Bolton.

On the bench today for the Trotters are Billy Crellin, Brandon Comley, Tom White, Jamie Mascoll, Reiss Greenidge, Ronan Darcy and Arthur Gnahoua - the latter taking the place of Lloyd Isgrove.
