Bolton Wanderers line-up vs Burton Albion confirmed as five changes & Dapo Afolayan decision made

Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has made five changes to his side to take on Burton Albion this evening from the team which beat Accrington Stanley over the weekend.

Wanderers return to the University of Bolton Stadium seeking three points for the second time in the space of four days. The Whites beat Stanley 3-2 in a dramatic comeback on Saturday.

The win saw Bolton climb back into the League One play-off places. A top six finish is what Wanderers are seeking this campaign, but there is of course a long way to go until the end of the season in May.

Wanderers boss Evatt has opted to make five changes from the side he named to start at the Wham Stadium.

James Trafford remains as goalkeeper. The back three could also remain the same with Gethin Jones, captain Ricardo Santos and Jack Iredale comprising it.

With Lloyd Isgrove being rested and Conor Bradley having served his suspension, the Liverpool loanee slots back in as right wing-back. On the left, it looks like Dapo Afolayan will start again in the position.

In central midfield, George Thomason starts after coming off the bench against Stanley. Alongside him will be Aaron Morley.

Kyle Dempsey impressed in the number 10 role over the weekend and is poised to remain in that role. Upfront, Evatt could keep faith with the partnership of Dion Charles and Elias Kachunga.

On the bench this evening for Wanderers are MJ Williams, George Johnston, Kieran Sadlier, Josh Sheehan, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, Amadou Bakayoko and Kieran Lee.
