Bolton Wanderers have confirmed that fans attending matches at the University of Bolton Stadium will have to either be double vaccinated from Covid-19 or show evidence of a negative test form next week.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson provided an update on Wednesday night and introduced Plan B which means England’s new measures will include the wider wearing of face masks, a return to working from home, and the mandatory use of Covid passes for access to large venues.
That includes football matches with Wanderers updating their supporters on what to expect from next week on visits to the UniBol and away grounds from next week.

The first game Wanderers supporters will have to show evidence of being double jabbed or a negative test will be the League One encounter at home against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday, December 18.
Wanderers have also confirmed that masks will have to be worn when entering the ground and on concourses, but not in seats, with more details to be released prior to the Wycombe game.
A statement from the club read: "In light of new government rules around Covid-19, supporters attending forthcoming matches at the University of Bolton Stadium will need to show proof of double vaccination or a negative test.
"The government has made use of the NHS Covid pass – which hosts vaccination and test result records – mandatory for all sporting events which will attract a crowd of over 10,000, with the rules coming into effect on Wednesday, 15 December.
"Wanderers will therefore be introducing the new measures – which will apply to supporters in hospitality and all areas of the ground – for the first time for the home game against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday, 18 December.
"Masks will also be required to be worn on entry to the stadium and in the concourse areas, but not when seated to watch the match.
"Wanderers are currently putting in place a number of processes to adhere to the latest government guidelines and further details regarding match-day protocols will be issued ahead of the game against Wycombe.
"We thank supporters for their cooperation, as well as encouraging all to take up the opportunity to be vaccinated."
