Bolton Wanderers cantered to a 3-0 success against Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday night with one player winning plenty of plaudits for his performance.
Goals from Eoin Doyle, Elias Kachunga and George Thomason wrapped up the points for Ian Evatt's side against their 10 man visitors but it was Liam Gordon's showing in defence that caught the eye.
The 22-year-old has mainly played as a left back this season but was deployed on the right in midweek and produced a statement display.

He's returned to Bolton this term and has made 14 appearances in all competitions, including nine in the league.
His performance certainly caught the eye of Wanderers fans on social media who were impressed with what they say from the youngster.
The result for Wanderers moved them up to 11th, seven points off the play-offs, ahead of a game against Cheltenham Town this weekend.
