Both teams would welcome three points, with Bolton without a win in their last five league matches, while Crewe have won just once all season in the division.

Today's game is the first time Wanderers have been in League One action this month - and Ian Evatt has made three changes from the side which drew against Stockport County in the FA Cup last Sunday.

Joel Dixon starts as goalkeeper with the back four lining up as Lloyd Isgrove, Ricardo Santos, Will Aimson and Declan John.

The midfield lines up as MJ Williams, Kieran Lee and Josh Sheehan this evening.

And the front three this evening will line up as Elias Kachunga on the right, with Amadou Bakayoko through the middle and Dapo Afolayan on the left, with Eoin Doyle out injured.

On the bench this evening for Bolton are. Matt Gilks, George Johnston, Alex Baptiste, Nathan Delfouneso, Xavier Amaechi, George Thomason, and Liam Gordon.
