Bolton Wanderers confirmed starting lineup vs Accrington Stanley as Aimson out and Williams returns

Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has made three changes to his side to take on Accrington Stanley today.

Wanderers are on the road again for the second time in the space of five days and have made the short journey to the Wham Stadium to take on Stanley.

In the last league meeting against Stanley in 2019, Wanderers lost 7-1 in League One and will be hoping to make amends for that encounter today.

And they will also be seeking to bounce back from the loss to Fleetwood Town in midweek too in a bid to return to winning ways in the division.

And Wanderers boss Evatt has made three changes from the side which lost to the Cod Army in midweek.

Joel Dixon continues as goalkeeper while there is a change in defence as Will Aimson is out and replaced by Alex Baptiste after testing positive for coronavirus, while Adam Senior lines up at right-back with Declan John at left-back and George Johnston is the other central defender

Wanderers are boosted by the return to fitness of MJ Williams, with Kieran Lee and George Thomason in front of him in central midfield.

And upfront, Elias Kachunga starts on the right, with Eoin Doyle through the middle and Dapo Afolayan on the left.

On the bench today for Wanderers are Matt Gilks, Nathan Delfouneso, Xavier Amaechi, Harry Brockbank, Liam Gordon, Matthew Tweedley and Arran Pettifer.
