Bolton Wanderers confirmed lineup vs Gillingham as four changes made from Plymouth Argyle loss

Ian Evatt has made four changes to his side to take on Gillingham today from the team which lost against Plymouth Argyle.

Wanderers are back in action in League One today aiming to return to winning ways after three successive defeats in the division at the hands of Sheffield Wedneday, Wigan Athletic and Argyle.

Bolton sit 11th in the table and only four points from the play-offs heading into this afternoon's encounter against the Gills, who are 19th in League One.

Today's game comes after the shock departure of club captain Antoni Sarcevic who moved to Stockport County yesterday.

And Evatt has made four changes to the side which lost to the Green Army in midweek.

Joel Dixon keeps his place as goalkeeper, while Ricardo Almeida Santos returns from suspension to partner George Johnston at the heart of defence.

The full-backs today will be Lloyd Isgrove at right-back and Declan John on the left who returns from injury.

The central midfield trio is unchanged from midweek and continues as MJ Williams, Kieran Lee and Josh Sheehan.

And the front three for Wanderers today will be Elias Kachunga on the right, Eoin Doyle through the middle and Dapo Afolayan on the left.

On the bench today for Wanderers are Matt Gilks, Nathan Delfouneso, Amadou Bakayoko, Will Aimson, Harry Brockbank, Liam Gordon and George Thomason.
