Bolton Wanderers confirmed lineup vs Fleetwood Town as Santos and Amaechi decisions made

Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has restored Ricardo Almeida Santos to the starting lineup for this evening's clash against Fleetwood Town.

The defender was rested against the Cod Army last Tuesday when these two sides met in the Papa John's Trophy at the University of Bolton Stadium.

This evening's encounter takes place in League One, with Wanderers aiming to build on last weekend's 1-0 win over Fleetwood with three points this evening versus the same opponents.

Santos was rested against the Cod Army last week and Alex Baptiste deputised on that occasion.

And Santos has been restored to the starting team by Evatt as the Wanderers boss makes two changes from the side which beat the Cod Army last week.

Joel Dixon is set to line up as goalkeeper with Liam Gordon at right-back and Declan John at left-back, while Santos is partnered by Will Aimson at the back.

With MJ Williams not quite ready to return, George Johnston could deputise in the holding midfield role, with Kieran Lee and George Thomason in front of him.

On the right flank, Evatt has restored Elias Kachunga to the team with Eoin Doyle set to start through the middle and Dapo Afolayan on the left flank.

On the bench for Wanderers this evening are Matt Gilks, Nathan Delfouneso, Xavier Amaechi, Alex Baptiste, Max Conway, Arran Pettifer and Matthew Tweedley.
