Bolton Wanderers confirmed lineup against Liverpool U21s as Ian Evatt makes several changes

Ian Evatt has ringed the changes this evening for his Bolton Wanderers side as they take on Liverpool's under-21s.

Wanderers return to the University of Bolton Stadium to take on the Anfield outfit's youngsters following victory over the weekend against Shrewsbury Town in League One.

And Evatt's side can book their place in the next round of the competition with victory over the Anfield side, having beaten Port Vale 3-2 in their opening game at the end of August.

A win would place Bolton on six points in their group, which also includes Rochdale, and would see them qualify for the next round with a game to spare.

The final group game for Bolton is in early November at the Crown Oil Arena against the Dale.

And he has made multiple changes from the side which beat Salop over the weekend.

Matt Gilks starts as goalkeeper, with a back four of Harry Brockbank, Alex Baptiste, Will Aimson - who makes his Bolton debut after joining over the summer - and Liam Gordon.

In central midfield, Josh Sheehan starts, as does George Thomason and Brandon Comley.

And upfront for Wanderers this evening will see Lloyd Isgrove on the right, Elias Kachunga through the middle and Nathan Delfouneso on the left.

On the bench for Wanderers this evening are Joel Dixon, George Johnston, Amadou Bakayoko, Matthew Tweedley, Max Conway, Arran Pettifer and Mitch Henry.
