Bolton Wanderers confirmed lineup against Lincoln City as two changes made in defence

Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has made two changes from the side which drew against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday to face Lincoln City this evening.

Wanderers are on the road for the second time in the space of four days and take on the Imps at Sincil Bank.

The Trotters are aiming for their first win of the League One campaign after back to back draws to start the season against MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon.

Ian Evatt hinted that there would be changes from the side which drew 3-3 at Plough Lane over the weekend and would pick the side he believes is physically most able to do the job.

And he has followed through with that and made two changes for this evening's encounter.

Joel Dixon keeps his place as goalkeeper, but there are a couple of changes to the back four in front of him.

Gethin Jones will line up at right-back with Ricardo Almeida Santos in central defence to be partnered by George Johnston and Liam Gordon filling the left back slot.

There is no place in the matchday squad for Declan John, who picked up an injury against AFC Wimbledon.

In central midfield, Evatt has named the trio of MJ Williams, Josh Sheehan and Antoni Sarcevic.

And the front three lines up this evening as Amadou Bakayoko, Eoin Doyle and Dapo Afolayan.

On the bench this evening for Wanderers are Matt Gilks, Kieran Lee, Harry Brockbank, Lloyd Isgrove, Elias Kachunga, George Thomason and Alex Baptiste.
