Bolton Wanderers confirmed lineup against AFC Wimbledon as two changes made from MK Dons opener

Ian Evatt has made five changes from the side which beat Barnsley in the Carabao Cup in midweek for today's Bolton Wanderers clash against AFC Wimbledon.

Wanderers are in League One action today and are on the road for the first time this season.

They got their new campaign up and running last Saturday with a draw in a 3-3 clash against MK Dons and booked their place in the second round of the Carabao Cup with a victory on penalties over the Tykes.

Today, the Trotters make their way to Plough Lane to take on an AFC Wimbledon side playing their first game at their new ground with no crowd restrictions in place.

Evatt rotated his squad in midweek and made six changes - and he has followed suit today and made five changes from the team which started against the Championship side and two from last weekend's draw vs MK Dons.

Joel Dixon lines up as goalkeeper, keeping his place in the team after Matt Gilks played against MK Dons last weekend.

The back four lines up as Gethin Jones, Ricardo Almeida Santos, Alex Baptiste and Declan John, the latter two of which were not involved in modweek.

In central midfield, Josh Sheehan returns to the starting lineup in place of Kieran Lee, while MJ Williams and captain Antoni Sarcevic continue in their roles in the team.

And upfront, Amadou Bakayoko and Dapo Afolayan are poised to line up on the right and left flanks respectively, with Eoin Doyle leading the line once again.

On the bench for Wanderers today are Matt Gilks, George Johnston - the two who drop out from the team which started against MK Dons - as well as Kieran Lee, Harry Brockbank, Lloyd Isgrove, Elias Kachunga andd George Johnston.
