Bolly Buzz: Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan announces his debut directorial project; Akshay Kumar gets trolled for his Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj teaser

From Aryan Khan announcing his debut Bollywood project to Akshay Kumar getting trolled for his Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj teaser and Vivek Agnihotri being dragged into a legal saga… here’s what’s buzzing in B-Town this Wednesday!

Vivek Agnihotri’s unconditional apology filed in the form of an affidavit, over his remarks against justice S Muralidhar, has not been accepted by the Delhi High Court, who asked the filmmaker to appear in person and express remorse. “Does he have any difficulty if he has to express remorse in person? The remorse cannot always be expressed by way of an affidavit,” the bench told his lawyer. ‘The Kashmir Files’ director had tweeted against justice S Muralidhar in 2018, who was then a judge of the Delhi high court and is now the Orissa high court chief justice. The filmmaker stated that he has deleted his comments from social media but the amicus curiae told the court that it was Twitter that had removed the tweets. Whatever be the truth, Delhi HC is not letting this criminal contempt case get over without seeing the filmmaker in person.

2023 already looks promising as Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan is all set to debut as a filmmaker. "Wrapped with the writing...can't wait to say action," Aryan had captioned a picture of his script. Aryan will direct this series, which is expected to go on floors in 2023. While Aryan invited his dad over for surprise visit to the sets, SRK put forth a condition for ‘afternoon shoots’ only and Aryan was quick to comply saying the series will have only ‘night shoots’

Speaking of announcements, Anurag Basu finally spilled the beans on Metro sequel! The anthology is titled 'Metro...In Dino' and will feature Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh and others. Pritam, who had weaved magic with the music for the first part, returns for the sequel. We can’t wait for this one to begin already!

Akshay Kumar, who took over Tuesday, with his appearance as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, is facing flak on social media. Several eagle eyed netizens have pointed out a light bulb chandelier in Akshay’s teaser, which they claim was non-existent during Shivaji Maharaj’s era. And what’s more? Internet users are voting Sharad Kelkar for the part, since he had wowed the audience as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji’.
