Bollywood woke up to the sad news of filmmaker Raj Kaushal’s demise on Wednesday morning. Mandira Bedi reportedly lost her husband to a cardiac arrest at 4:30 am. Jitu Savlani, a close friend of the family, confirmed the news saying, “It is true he suffered a cardiac arrest early in the morning.” Following the news break, friends and film industry insiders from Onir to Dino Morea, Rohit Roy and many others paid tribute to Raj and fondly remembered him for his work and the kind person he was. Raj's last rites were performed late Wednesday morning in the presence of a few family and friends.
Legendary actor Dilip Kumar was admitted to the (ICU) again, following complaints of breathlessness. Word doing the rounds claims that the actor was admitted as a "precautionary measure". This news comes in just ten days after he was discharged from the hospital. Sources tell us, "He is fine. He is in the ICU so that the doctors can monitor him."
Naseeruddin Shah too has been hospitalised. The veteran star was apparently wheeled into a city hospital two days ago. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and a patch was found in his lungs for which he is undergoing treatment. His family - wife Ratna Pathak Shah and kids - are by his side.
Ranveer Singh upped his style game for a high fashion photoshoot. Bollywood's King of Quirks debuted long wavy locks as he packed on the swag for the shoot that saw him in an ensemble only he can pull off. Once people could look away from the designer blue satin tracks they couldn't help but notice the spitting resemblance he shared with Oscar-winner Jared Leto. As it turns out, even best bud Arjun Kapoor found the resemblance uncanny when he dubbed Ranveer as, "Veer Leto."
Another star giving us reasons to smile today was Shah Rukh Khan. Buzz is that the actor is all set to release an exciting music video. He has already shot for the same at a studio recently and will be seen shaking a leg in his signature style. Shah Rukh has packed an interesting gig for the same and is expected to release the video ahead of his long list of movies.
