Istanbul Basaksehir have snubbed the chance to sign Boli Bolingoli permanently.
The defender will return to Celtic after his loan spell in Turkey expired at the club.
Bolingoli was sent out for the best part of last season following his controversial coronavirus protocol sins where he travelled to Spain without quarantining or even telling Parkhead chiefs.
He then played against Kilmarnock the following weekend before being shipped out on loan.
The 25-year-old played 18 times during his spell in Turkey.
But Istanbul have confirmed on their website that they will not be exercising their option clause to sign the left-back on a permanent basis.
A statement said: "The contract of Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo, who played successfully for one season under our orange-dark blue jersey, has expired.

"Our club has decided not to exercise the purchase option in the rental agreement with Celtic FC.
"We thank Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo for his efforts for our club and wish him success for the rest of his career."
