Boli Bolingoli's Celtic transfer to Amiens in jeopardy as French side 'open talks' with Liverpool alternative

Boli Bolingoli's move to Amiens could be in jeopardy as the Ligue 2 side 'opened talks' with Liverpool left-back Adam Lewis.

The French outfit had reportedly made a loan bid for the Celtic outcast, with an option to buy next summer.

Bolingoli is deemed surplus to requirements at Parkhead after his coronavirus breach as he returned from Spain without isolating.

It appeared that Amiens were keen on taking him off Celtic's hands, but that could now be at risk as they made a move for Anfield youngster Lewis.

French journalist Loic Tanzi claims Amiens are negotiating with Jurgen Klopp's side to sign the 20-year-old on a loan deal, with an option to make it permanent in 12 months time.

Bolingoli awaits the repurcussions from his coronavirus scandal, but a potential lengthy ban could have poured cold water on his move to Amiens.

The 25-year-old received a notice of complaint from the SFA for his actions as the joint response group introduced new discplinary measures to ensure the return of football is not paused.

Celtic have also yet to punish Bolingoli, but his future at the Parkhead club appears to be over.
