Boli Bolingoli issues Celtic left-back warning as defender insists he won't be budged

Boli Bolingoli has hailed the strength in depth at Neil Lennon 's disposal and singled out the quality of options the Northern Irish gaffer has at his disposal at left-back.

And the Belgian has warned his competitors for a first team jersey that that he won't be budged due to a lack of hard graft.

Bolingoli had an uneasy start to life in the Hoops after a £3m summer move from Rapid Vienna.

While he impressed with his attacking play he made a couple of high-profile mistakes and looked defensively suspect, especially in his positioning.

Such concerns have ebbed away over the last few weeks after a series of solid performances and an excellent showing in Celtic 's 2-0 victory at Ibrox against arch-rivals Rangers.

The attack-minded full-back is aware that the manager has options and is determined to remain in the team.

He said: "c, of course.

"I'll always be open if the coach keeps me at number one or number two, I'll work hard for the team to accomplish the goals.

"Jonny is very good when he plays at left-back, Greg Taylor is a good talented young player.

"We have a lot of good players in every position so the coach has choices and he can count on any player whenever he wants.

"I came to play and if they bought another left-back, it's good to have healthy contest.

"I didn't even think about making something of it in my mind, I just stay focused."
