Bold predictions for Lions preseason game 4

We finally made it through the preseason.

All that’s left for the Detroit Lions is their final game against the Cleveland Browns, tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET. How’s that one going to go? Of course, I don’t know. But I’ve got some bold predictions.

Here we go:

  1. We already know this will be called the 0-16 Bowl. So, I’m going to say 0-16 gets mentioned what will feel like at least a million times. But, I’ll go ahead and set the over/under at 10. And I’ll take the over.
  2. Since neither quarterbacks Matthew Stafford nor Baker Mayfield will be playing, there will probably be an impromptu beer shotgunning contest at halftime between the two of them.
  3. We will find out that Zach Zenner, like other former Lions, tested positive for PEDs [Editor’s note: Sonja is just joking, please put your pitchforks away Zenner fans].
  4. Should the Lions lose, there will be at least two tweets that will have something along the lines of, “In 2008 they went 4-0 in the preseason and 0-16 in the regular season. If we went 0-4 this preseason, we’re heading to 16-0! SUPERBOWL!”

Now, let’s see how right I am!
