The sun is heating up and if you are losing all our glam, it's time to reach out for your makeup box for that much needed glam. Summers can look fresh and non-sweaty, all you need is the right makeup inspiration! We caught up with Chandni Goyal, Training Manager, Anastasia Beverly Hills India to share some fabulous summer makeup ideas.
Sunkissed Skin and a Cat Wing
Brush up a warm bronzer across your cheekbones and merging it slightly towards your nose to give your skin a sunkissed look. On the eyes draw a bold cat eye wing – the wing to not start from the inner corner of the eye, but from the mid of the eye extending outwards to give it the cat eye look.
Monotone Eyeshadow
Blending two or more eyeshadows is great, but putting on one single eyeshadow and blending it effortlessly into your crease is one eye makeup that will have all the attention. Go in for bold neon colors this summer. If you are not someone who is a pro at blending shadows, opt it for matte creamy eye pencils in bold colors.
High arched brows and double wing
Create a feathered and arched brow look. You can use a brow wax for that uplifted and feathered look followed by double winged eyeliner, draw a black liner and on top of it draw a bold colored liner – colors like an electric pink, orange and an electric blue are all in for this summer season.
Bold Berry Lips
Nothing speaks class yet boldness like a crisp bright red lip color. Clean skin with well-groomed eyebrows and a bold red lip is an easy to achieve, yet a look to watch out for this summer. Shades of red in Cherry, Plum, Lychee, Pomegranate and the like work well for the Indian skin tones.
Sunset Eyes
Another trend to try this summer is sunset eyes. Shades of copper and gold on the eyelids blending into soft oranges and browns can create a perfect mirror to sunset eyes. The trick here is to use an eye primer and metallic shadows on the eyelids for the colors to pop and gleam like the setting sun.
