Bojan Miovski was really happy to hear that Rangers were interested in him, with the striker eager to make his debut against Celtic.
The ex-Aberdeen striker has spoken for the first time since penning a four-year deal at Ibrox.
"I was really happy," Miovski told RangersTV when asked what he first thought about a potential move to Glasgow. "I already knew the club. I'd been here [Scotland] two years. I know the history behind the club, so to be honest, it means a lot to me.
"I'm really looking forward to making my own history with this club.
"I spoke with a lot of people from Scotland. I have a lot of friends. They only said good words about Rangers.

"Aberdeen bought me when I was in Hungary. It was a great step for me. I spent two amazing years there. And of course, life moves on. I went to Spain, another experience, a different experience."
Rangers have shelled out £2.6million on Miovski, although that fee could rise to £4.2m with add-ons.
The 26-year-old was asked what he can bring to his new club.
Miovski said: "Probably goals! I'm a really positive guy. As I say, I will try to give my best for the fans and make them happy with the goals and trophies.
"I played in La Liga, I have good experience there. When I was at Aberdeen, I played in Europe. I've played some big games for the national team so for me it's nothing new.
"It was a busy three days, but I'm happy I'm here. I trained with the boys, I met all of the boys, all of them are really good guys. Some of them I know. From the first day, they've helped me a lot."
Miovski is expected to be registered in team to feature in Rangers' game against Celtic at Ibrox tomorrow.
Having prepared well for he new campaign, he is raring to go: "I did a full pre-season with my previous team," said the forward. "I played friendly games. I played the first La Liga game with Girona, so I don't have any problem.
"The Old Firm derby, we know the history behind it. I don't need to say a lot of words about the history of this game. Of course, I am excited that it will be my first game, and I hope we get the three points and I score goals."
