The Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) has announced incentives for battery production using advanced technology. The incentives apply to both existing and new projects, ranging from battery cells to battery modules. They also apply to production of high energy density batteries. Eligible enterprises will enjoy 90% reduction in import duties on raw and essential materials for 5 years for output sold domestically.
