Bohemains will play at Aviva Stadium if they are drawn at home in the Europa League.
But as expected, the game on August 27 will go ahead behind closed doors because of strict UEFA protocols.
The Phibsborough club confirmed the venue switch today and thanked the FAI for facilitating it.
“Hosting a potential home tie at a modern and spacious world class facility would allow the club to maintain maximum levels of health and safety,” said a Bohs statement.
This summer’s Champions League and Europa League qualifiers involving Dundalk, Shamrock Rovers, Bohs and Derry City will be played over one-leg only.
That is because of major upheaval in the football calendar because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
And the draw will determine home advantage.
The Champions League draw takes place on August 9 with the Europa League the following day.
