Bohemians sign striker Thomas Oluwa after teenager's Shamrock Rovers exit

Bohemians have signed their second striker in 24 hours.

The Gypsies have snapped up Thomas Oluwa, 19, following his exit from champions Shamrock Rovers.

And Bohs boss Keith Long said: “Thomas is an exciting young forward who will provide us with options at the top end of the pitch.

“He’s young and has a lot to prove but comes to us determined to do well.

“We feel his qualities of pace, power, energy along with the  ability to play in a number of positions can help us.”

Oluwa made four Premier Division appearances for the Hoops in 2020 but played more often in their First Division side this year.

Bohs signed former Dundalk striker Georgie Kelly yesterday as Long bolsters attacking options following Andre Wright’s return to England.

Elsewhere, midfielder Ryan Connolly has signed a contract extension with Finn Harps while Cobh Ramblers handed fresh deals to Charlie Lyons and Ian Turner.
