Bohemians pay tribute after sudden death of lifelong fan

Bohemians have paid tribute after the sudden death of one of their lifelong supporters.

Con Woodley from Glasnevin in Dublin passed away suddenly last Friday.

The club wrote: "Everyone at Dalymount Park was extremely saddened to learn of the tragic passing of supporter Con Woodley (right) at the weekend.

"Con was a Bohs fan all his life and was a hugely popular figure among his group of friends, who are regulars at Dalymount.

"He will be sorely missed by them all and Bohemians extend our condolences to them and all of Con’s family and friends. May he Rest In Peace."

Con is the son of Maureen and Con, brother of Ornaith, grandson of the late Con and Mary Kennerk and Frances and the late Bernard Keegan.

The reposing will take place at Bourke’s Funeral Home, 71 Queen Street, Dublin 7 on Wednesday evening from 5pm until 7pm

His Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday at 11am in St. Columba’s Church, Iona Road with cremation afterwards at Glasnevin Crematorium.
