FAI Cup holders Dundalk - who needed extra-time to see off First Division high-flyers Treaty United in the first round - will host Leinster Senior League side St Mochtas.
There are three other non-league clubs still alive in the competition with Kilnamanagh drawn away to Waterford.
Maynooth University Town will cost Cobh Ramblers who are now under the control of new boss Darren Murphy.
And Killester Donnycarney will fancy causing an upset at home to Wexford while UCD host Premier Division bottom side Longford Town.
