Bohemian Rhapsody sing-along screenings coming to UK and US following Golden Globes win

Following two Golden Globe victories, hundreds of Bohemian Rhapsody sing-along screenings have been announced.

UK, American and Canadian fans of Queen can watch and sing to their hearts content come this Friday (11 January), when cinemas across those countries begin showing the movie with the lyrics on screen.

Songs that appear throughout the film include the band’s “We Will Rock You”, “We Are the Champions”, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, “Another One Bites the Dust”, and the title song.

“We are delighted to give audiences the opportunity to see this outstanding Golden Globe-winning film featuring Rami Malek’s amazing Golden Globe-winning performance in theatres in both its original form and in a never-before-experienced ‘sing-along’ version,” Fox president of US distribution Chris Aronson said.

You can find your nearest sing-along screening in the UK here.

Malek, who plays Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, won the Golden Globe for best actor in a drama film, while the biopic went on to win best drama film. The victory has proven controversial due to director Bryan Singer’s involvement – the filmmaker has had multiple allegations of sexual abuse levied against him. Singer has denied all allegations.
