'Bogey side' - What Nottingham Forest fans are saying ahead of their trip to Preston North End

Nottingham Forest fans are hoping they can take another stride in cementing a Championship play-off place when they travel to Preston North End on Saturday.

The Reds are hoping to bounce back from their midweek defeat to Fulham at the City Ground which was their first loss since football restarted due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Boss Sabri Lamouchi will be looking for the perfect response at Deepdale where Alex Neil’s side are also hunting a top-six finish.

Lamouchi has some big decisions to make regarding his team selection as the Reds continue to dream of a return to the Premier League.

We took to Facebook to ask the fans for their predictions and here are a selection of their comments.

Matt Hallsworth:   A draw. PNE will sit back and we can’t play a proactive game very well. 0-0.

John Brodie:   Believe they are in worse form than us so we should look to get the win. That said they are a bit of bogey side for us. For me though it’s been a week of must wins to get over the line and we’ve failed so far so think there’s a bit of pressure on.

Paul Spiteri: 1-0 Forest hopefully, but wouldn’t be surprised if it was a draw.

Karl Damien Booth: Hope we win,  probably a draw.

Tom Faulkner:   Hope for a win. Take a draw.

Stefan Flannery: 2-0 Forest I really, really hope (realistically). Wash those superstitious cobwebs away folks!!

Yvonne Wilson:   If we remain focused, no last minute errors, a win is on the cards. Come on you Reds.

James Wright: If he plays formation and similar players we will get nothing. We get nothing at Preston so we need a plan B and SL doesn’t have a plan B.

Tony Bagley: If I recall, they are a bit of a bogey team for us.

Sean Moore: Hard game but even harder when your six-year-old supports Preston all because of FIFA.

Nick Kewell: Lose. Because it’s Preston. We always lose to Preston. Revisit me tomorrow and tell me I got it wrong. I’ll be happy if you are here.
