Bog Amach: Irish speakers seeking to buy their dream home wanted for new TV show

Irish speakers seeking to make a big move and buy their dream home anywhere in Ireland are wanted to appear on a TV show.

Strident Media are making series two of their property programme Bog Amach for RTÉ and BBC.

In Season One of Bog Amach, six couples and families were helped in their search to move back home or make a big life change by moving out of cities into rural locations.

For the participants looking for houses, there needs to be one person who is a strong Irish speaker.

A Strident Media spokeperson said: "Are you a city dweller with big dreams of moving to the countryside? Are you an Irish speaker living abroad who wants to move home?

"A retired person looking to downsize, or move to the country? Are you looking for a rural location to work remotely, start a new business or venture - or just a new way of life?

"If so, and if you speak Irish and would like a bit of help with your search, we want to hear from you!"

The spokesperson added: "And in this new series, we want to meet more people making the big move - from those moving back from overseas to people looking to start a new life or business in rural Ireland.

"More and more people are swapping hectic city life, traffic jams and lack of space for a quieter and more serene life. They're drawn by the coast, the mountains and the scenery in their search for a new way of life.

"And working from home has created a revolution for employers and workers, making the once seemingly impossible dream a reality.

"If you'd like to avail of expert advice and get some help with finding out more about your target areas - and you're willing to be filmed in the process - we'd like to hear from you!"

If you’d like to appear in the programme, get expert advice and learn more about the property or area of your dreams, you can get in touch by contacting cara@stridentmedia.com. You can fill in the casting application HERE.
