Bodybuilder dad brags about feeding his 'lean' baby 'eggs, fruits and veggies'

A bodybuilder dad has bragged about feeding his 'lean' baby boy fruits, vegetables and eggs.

Jack Reynolds, from Fort Collins, Colorado, US, has been slammed on social media for boasting of his son's 'healthy' diet.

The father revealed he grinds up his eight-month-old son's vegetables and 'proteins' so he can eat them.

However, many online commenters objected to the diet and called Mr Reynolds 'gross' for bragging about his boy's physique.

Describing his son, the dad tweeted: "He’s lean bc he isn’t eating processed sh*t... And unusually handsome."

He added: "We feed our 8mo son: Whole eggs, whole fruit, whole vegetables, H2O.

"We grind up his vegetables/proteins most the time, until he can chomp away on his own. 99% percentile height/head size 70% percentile weight."

The dad also tweeted a picture of himself holding the baby next to his partner.

However, social media users were not impressed by Mr Reynolds' comments.

One person said: "I hope you forgot to say the words 'breast milk' or 'formula.' Because if those things are all you are feeding your 8 month old you need to tell your paediatrician so they can explain to you how you are doing it wrong.

"Also, it is hella f**ked up to brag about a lean baby. Gross."

Others also slammed the dad for calling his baby 'lean', although some came to his defence.

One said: "Effort brother, effort.

"You’re putting the time, thought, effort into providing only the best for your son too often parents turn to what’s convenient, what’s quick. Proud of you & cant wait to watch him break lifting records at 5."

Mr Reynolds later claimed he was joking when he described his boy as 'lean'.

He tweeted: "This child is hugely loved. 'Lean' was a joke."
