The body of a local man was recovered from a reservoir on Sunday.
Police were called to Cwmaman Reservoir, near Aberdare, at 4pm on Sunday, June 28, where the man was found.
A spokesman from South Wales Police confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
The area is known locally as the Shugs.
A police spokesman said: "At approximately 4pm on Sunday (June 28) the body of a local man was recovered from Cwmaman Reservoir.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
"The Coroner has been informed."
