POLICE have launched an investigation after a body was pulled from the water off the coast of an island in the Inner Hebrides.
Emergency services were made aware of the discovery near the Isle of Iona at around 1.45pm on Tuesday.
Police said that enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the discovery.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.45pm on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, we were made aware a body had been recovered off the coast of Iona.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
