Body of young woman found in 'unexplained circumstances' in Dublin city

Gardai are investigating after the body of a young woman was found in "unexplained circumstances" in Dublin city.

The woman, aged in her 30s, was found dead at a house in Mulhuddart on Tuesday morning.

The scene has been sealed off by officers while a technical examination is carried out.

A post-mortem will determine the course of the investigation.

A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of a body of a female in her 30s in unexplained circumstances at a property in Castlecurragh Vale, Mulhuddart this morning, Tuesday 13 October 2020.

"The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination and the State Pathologist has been notified. Her body has been removed to Dublin City Mortuary where a post-mortem is due to take place, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.

"No further information is available at this time."
