The body of a young woman has been recovered from a wooded area near Hamilton.
As reported on Glasgow Live, the area in Cadzow Glen was locked down by police on Sunday, with a cordon erected and emergency services in attendance last night.
A force representative confirmed today that the body of an unidentified young female was discovered around 10.15am.

The Police Scotland spokesperson said : "Around 10.15am on Sunday, 28 November, 2021 the body of a young female was found in the wooded area near to Cadzow Glen, Hamilton.
“Formal identification is still to take place and enquiries are ongoing.”
