A body of a woman has been recovered from a pond in the west end of Glasgow.
The discovery was made around 10:20am this morning at Bingham's Pond off Great Western Road next to Gartnavel Hospital.
Emergency services attended and enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the death.
Police have confirmed that, at this stage, the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 10.20am on Thursday, 23 July, 2020, the body of a woman was found in Bingham's Pond in Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the death. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
"At this stage there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
