A body has been found in Bootle this afternoon.
Emergency services were called over reports of concern for the safety of a woman in her 50s in Bootle today (Wednesday November 10).
Merseyside Police officers were called at around 12.40pm and then received a further report shortly after that a woman had been found dead at the property.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her death is not believed to be suspicious and her next of kin have been informed.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We can confirm that emergency services were called to a report of concern for the safety of a woman in her 50s in Bootle this afternoon (Wednesday 10 November).
"Officers were called at around 12.40pm, and shortly after received a further report that a woman had sadly been found dead at the property.
"The woman, who is believed to be in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Her death is not thought to be suspicious and her next of kin have been informed."
