The body of a woman has been found near Kingswood.
There has been a heavy police presence in the Siston Park area today (Tuesday, October 20) with a police cordon in place and forensic teams spotted.
The sudden death is not being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: “The ambulance service called us at 7.35am this morning (Tuesday 20 October) to report a sudden death of a woman at an address in the Siston Park area of Bristol.
"Her next of kin have been informed. The circumstances are not believed to suspicious.
"Enquiries are being made on behalf of the coroner.”

A local resident told Bristol Live: "Police cordoned off lane, police guarding entrance through lane and not letting anyone through.
"There are forensics there, obviously something serious."
