Body of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited employee found hanging in park

Ganesh Kumar Hazratganj Indiranagar Lucknow

Lucknow: A 38-year-old man working as an accountant in Shakti Bhawan was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances in Laxman Park in Hazratganj, 7km from his home in Indiranagar.

The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Kumar, an accountant in UP Power Corporation Ltd. The postmortem examination report indicates a case of suicide.

Police said that a student spotted the body around 10am and informed police. The body was hanging from the tree with a noose made out of cloth. Investigating officer Syed Aadil said that a mobile phone was found from Kumar’s pocket through which his wife was informed.
