The body of a missing woman has been found in a river.
58-year-old Kathleen Lawlor had been missing from her home in Bennekerry, Co Carlow since Tuesday morning, January 21.
Her body was tragically discovered during searches in the River Barrlow in Carlow earlier today.
Gardai, who are treating the case as a personal tragedy, thanked the public for their assistance.
A file will now be prepared for the coroner.
