Police have today confirmed the body of Billie Mia French Mullen has been found in woods in East Kilbride.
The 29-year-old had been missing from her home in Jervis Crescent, Westwood since Saturday.
She was found at around 8pm last night within a wooded area near to Lickprivick Road in Greenhills.
A formal identification has still to take place however the family of Ms Mullen have been informed.
A post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death and police are treating the death as unexplained at this time.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
