Body of missing man Stuart Emslie found following search in Fife

The body of a man who went missing from his home in Fife three days ago has been found.

Stuart Emslie was last seen at his home in Kirkcaldy around 2pm on Thursday.

A search was launched to find him, with police growing concerned for the 42-year-old's welfare.

On Sunday afternoon, police announced his body had been found in Glenrothes.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Officers searching for Stuart sadly discovered his body close to Laverock Avenue shortly before 3pm today (Sunday).

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
