The body of a missing 21-year-old man has been discovered in the Barrhead area.
Police Scotland have confirmed that the body found was that of Steven Ingram. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Steven was reported missing from his Barrhead home on Monday (October 7) and an appeal was issued by officers.
Formal identification of Steven has taken place and his family have been made aware.
The public have been thanked for their help with police enquiries.
Inspector Stevie Gow said: "Our thoughts are with Steven's family and friends at this sad and difficult time. Thank you to everyone who shared our earlier appeal for information and assisted with enquiries."
