Body of missing Swansea man Paul Newcombe found in wooded area

The body of missing man Paul Newcombe has been found in a wooded area.

The 40-year-old was reported missing on Tuesday, August 11, from Trallwn in Llansamlet, Swansea.

His family issued a desperate plea to help find him on Friday he has since been found dead.

South Wales Police confirmed on Sunday that his body was located in a wooded area of Llansamlet, near Trallwn Road, at around 2.30pm on Saturday, August 15.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

A spokesman for the force said: "Officers searching for missing Swansea man Paul Newcombe can confirm that his body was located in a wooded area of Llansamlet, near Trallwn Road, at approximately 2.30pm on Saturday, 15 August.

"His death is not being treated as suspicious. A file of evidence is being prepared for the Coroner who has been informed."
