Body of missing man last seen in Manchester found on beach near Skegness

The body of a missing man last seen in Manchester city centre has been discovered on a beach in Lincolnshire.

Enrico Princi, 34, was last seen on Red Bank, on the outskirts of the city centre, on Friday, November 29.

The body of the Italian national was later found on a beach, located between Skegness and Gibraltar Point.

Lincolnshire Police made the discovery on Monday, December 2.

Formal identification has taken place and Enrico's family have been informed.

Police have said the death is not being treated as suspicious.

One Skegness councillor, Danny Brookes told LincolnshireLive : "It's devastating news for the family. Sad news for everyone. I was hoping that he would be reunited with his family and friends.

"We are a seaside resort and things like this are always very sad to hear about. You want people to have happy times here."
