A body has been found in a river in south Bristol today (Sunday, November 15).
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed a man's body was found in a river off Hawkfield Road, Hartcliffe.
A force spokesman said the family of a man reported missing on Thursday (November 12) have been made aware.
Emergency services are at the scene working to recover the body from the water.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “At approximately 12.15pm today a man’s body was found in the river off Hawkfield Road, Bristol.
“Emergency services are at the scene and are working to recover the body from the water.
“The family of a man reported missing on Thursday are aware.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained.”
