The body of a man has been found in Wicklow following a paragliding accident on Saturday.
The man, who was from north Dublin and aged in his 30s, never returned home yesterday evening and was believed to have been on the Wicklow Mountains.
A search was subsequently carried out by gardai, the Dublin-Wicklow Mountain Rescue and the Irish Coast Guard.
The body was found at 8am this morning in the Ballinacor Estate in Wicklow, along with wreckage, Dublin Live reports.
A garda spokeswoman told Dublin Live: "The body of a man in his 30s has been discovered following an apparent paragliding accident.

"The man is believed to have been on the Wicklow Mountains yesterday, Saturday May 11th 2019 and failed to return to his north Dublin home.
"Gardaí, Dublin –Wicklow Mountain Rescue commenced a search together with the Irish Coast Guard Rescue.

"At approximately 8am this morning, Sunday 12th May, the man’s body was discovered in a field at Ballinacor Estate, Wicklow together with wreckage.
"The body will be removed this morning for a Post Mortem examination.
"The Air Accident Investigation Unit (AAIU) have been informed and will commence an investigation."
