A body of a man has been pulled from a canal in Glasgow .
Officers were called to reports of a body in the water at Speirs Wharf in the north of the city around 6.40pm on Monday July 22.
Police have cordoned off the area with officers still at the scene.
His identity is unknown at this stage.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "About 6:40pm on Monday 22nd of July 2019, police were called to reports of a body in the water at Spiers Wharf Glasgow.
"Police attended and the body of a man was recovered from the water.
"Police remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing.
