A body of a man has been recovered from a canal in North Lanarkshire.
Emergency services were called to the water near to the Auchinstarry Marina near Kilsyth just after 9am this morning.
There are no details of the man's identity at this stage as officers continue their inquiries into the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a man's body found in a canal near Auchinstarry Marina, around 9.15am on Saturday.
"Specialist resources are in attendance and inquiries are ongoing to identify the man."
